Keepin' It Moving!!

So, we're way into March and it feels like summer is around the corner.  I feel like I've done a lot, but nothing has been accomplished or set in stone!  Working on these big projects takes a lot of time, but I want to get it done now.  If something doesn't get done by the next day, it feels like just a waste of time.  Being patience is a big key to making things happen.  You just have to wait and let it plan out.

I've been working on a lot of proposals and it feels good to be productive.  A lot good money making opportunities within the entertainment industry.  This is the year to get a lot of things done.  A lot of my time and effort in the past few years are finally paying off and it feels great.

I have a lot of things going on and I feel like some days I'm overwhelmed and other days I can take control of all the things I have going on.  Overall, I feel blessed to be busy and for God giving me the opportunities to make money for something that I love to do.  There hasn't been a day that I don't thank God for the things that he's given me.  He keeps me with positive people.  Even with the negative people, God challenges me to prove them wrong.  I feel that you need that negative energy from people to only make you stronger.  It helps you build character within you.  I can go on and on, about how you can turn around your negative surroundings and make it positive.  Faith and Fate are the key parts to it!

One month into it...

It’s already February, January was a busy month for me. A lot of ups and downs! The UPS: Going to DC for the Inauguration! That was one in a life time things that anybody can do. Be one of 2-3 millions of people to see the First African American President. I’m not black, but I think that it means a lot for the minorities in the U.S. Since I was in the east coast already, I was able to plan a trip to NY and catch up with some of the people I talk to in usual bases. Remind me not to go to the East Coast during the winter!! It’s always freezing. I can never complain when it’s 60 degrees in SF.

Downs: Couple of the deals I’ve been working on has turned sour or bad. I can’t be mad; it’s just how this business is. I can only keep it moving and do my best.

One of my goals this year is to build a strong foundation of my networks. I know that I have a solid base of people in my network. I have People that I can trust. And know that they can to their part to get the job done.

Do I really want to go to AZ for the NBA All Star celebrations? I’m working on a party with Akon already. It’s pretty much done, but I’m not in the mood to be out there. That’s when you know you’re getting old, or tired of the scene. That’s when you go to dope parties and meet celebrities and now its whatever. I just want to get paid and go to sleep. Haha!

I was talking to one of my friends in the Industry and we were talking bout how each of us mad sacrifices to get to where we’re at. The “types” of girls we meet are ridiculous. A lot of them are really out for one thing, and it’s not love. It’s funny to see how girls try to work themselves.

Well that’s about it for now.

New Year and the hustle continues...

4 days into the New Year and it keeps getting busy! I have so many things I want to do before summer hits! Not even till the end of the year!! Right off the bat in January, I’ll be back to traveling! Las Vegas on the 10th and 30th, Washington DC for the inauguration on the 19th – 22nd, New York to hang out on 23rd to 26th, this will be a busy month for me. On top of that, meetings galore! Got so many meetings this month! I’m on my hustle mode! Nothing can and should stop me! I just feel like this is my year to shine!

When I meet new people and I tell them what I do, it may seem so glamorous to them. How cool it is to hang out with celebrities and party the night away from them. It’s not even like that. I think I stress so much more this past two years than I have before. I don’t let it effect me because I know God is always there behind me. I’ve made a lot of sacrifices to get me where I am. I’ve missed so many family and friends events. There are a bunch of things that I couldn’t do because I had other business to attend. I pretty much put my career in front of me. I may seem to have a personal life, but it doesn’t even seem like it. I always have to be available for meetings, last minute events, travels, etc…

Lately, I’ve been feeling that I need to be more about family also. I’ve been hanging out with a lot of family in the past few months and it felt good. I was able to catch up with them and see how they’re doing. You’re family will always be there for you, if not God will most definitely will be there. It was just all the holiday love that I’ve been getting.

When people say “You can do whatever you put your heart into”, I say you can also. If you have the desire to be the best in your field, it’s not that hard! It’s about having the drive and the heart, when you wake up everyday.

I went to the Crystal Cathedral in the OC on Christmas Eve and it was dope. I went inside one of their offices and they had quotes on the walls. The ones I like were:
“Tough times never last… But tough people do!”

Also:
“When faced with a mountain
I WILL NOT QUIT
I will keep on striving
Until I climb over,
Find a pass through,
Tunnel underneath
Or simply stay and
Turn the mountain
Into a miracle,With GOD’S help!”

Pretty Good for 2008! Let '09 begin!!

I would have to say that 2008 has been a pretty good year! Not GREAT!! But pretty GOOD! I’ve accomplished a lot of things and made my network stronger! I can almost say that I can make moves within a minute. I’ve visited so many places and especially all over the west coast. My friends and family can’t even keep up with my schedule from time to time. I’ve just been blessed! I thank GOD everyday for all the things he’s done and for the person that he’s made me. I’m thankful for God to let me meet a lot of the right people this year! And also the people that I still keep in contact with as well!

I didn’t want to bring up the racial thing, but for me to be “Asian” and be apart of this entertainment/music community; sometimes I don’t believe that I’m doing this! I always get props by Asian people for what I’ve been doing! And it does feel good and pushes me to do better!

Anyways… I just can’t wait to get December over! 2009 will be my year to do some big things!! I’m just so excited for all the things that I have going! I would love to spill it out, but I’d rather just keep quiet about it. Those people working with me knows what’s up.

I just want to wish every one MERRY CHRISTMAS! And to remember what Christmas is all about! Hope you have a great time with your family and really appreciate what they do for you!

Hope everyone will also have A GREAT NEW YEAR! HAPPY NEW YEARS YA’LL!

Why I am a future BOSS!!

My trip back to the Philippines was really great for me! It was great personally and professionally also! I know now why I am the way I am!! Why I have a strong character for business and why I’m always “caring”. I haven’t been back to the Philippines for over 12 years and the last time I went there was for my grandfather’s death.

When I got to see all my family, from both sides of my family; I see how much of a business person they are. They own a lot of business out there. Most of them are good business and some are bad. Bad meaning morally bad, but I see them making a good amount of money still. One of my uncles owns a company and is so well off, he hardly works anymore. The business just works for him now. All he does is go to the gym and hang around the coffee shop. One of my young cousins out there owns piggery and a karaoke bar! He seems to be doing pretty well for him and his family! From seeing all that, I now see why I am hungry everyday to succeed! It’s just in me!! Its not just one day, I want to do start a business. It’s been in my family line for a while. One of my uncle said it doesn’t matter what kind of business you have, as long as it is successful. That is how you will get respected around your communities. If you love what you do, being stressed out is easy!

So, from the last time I visited Manila; it as grew and changed so much. Just going out around town was crazy! The hip hop scene is pretty big out there. I was able to go to the Chris Brown/Rihanna concert and there was over 70k people watching the show and another 10k outside listening to the show. It’s crazy how music can grow all over and music is pretty much the national language of the youth. The clubs out there was cracking also! Club Embassy was one of the nicest clubs I’ve been too. It can shut down most of the clubs in SF. When you think of a third world country, you think of a piece of shit country, but you can hardly say that about Manila. Don’t get me wrong, there are still parts of Manila where you won’t bare to walk the streets on. But more than half of the area, you can pretty much walk and go around. There are a lot of Phil-am and people from other countries moving to the Philippines. Your dollar does go a long way out there! I did get sick out there, but who doesn’t from what everybody tells me. I never got so sick in my life and felt like shit also! Overall, I had a great time out there and got to know myself a little bit more. I was able to work on some business there also! I do plan on coming back sometime early next year!! Watch out!! My international take over is in place!! Haha!

Going to the motherland to make some dough!

I will be going to the Philippines on Wednesday!! One side of me is excited to go and the other is scared to go!! I'm will be out there for business meetings and looking to venture new opportunities! I have set up some meetings with artist buyers out there! I hope everything works out fine!!

I haven’t been to the Philippines in over 10 years! Last time I was there, I was only 15 years old. It’s going to be a little scary going there. I know that most of the people there in Manila are Americanize, but there are still those other people. I’m going to be going there with my friend/business partner. He’s expecting me to make all the contacts and make things happen. He’s putting a lot of pressure on me, but I love pressure and I wouldn’t have it any other way!! Many people believe in what I do, and sometimes I don’t believe in myself! Half of the things I do, I’m winging it! Yes! It’s hard to believe, but I just come up with stuff!

So we’ll see what I get out of this trip!!
